Roger Nadin and Enduro India

There have been a numbers of great loves in my life and none more so than the great outdoors and motorcycling – combine the two and I’m in heaven!

I’ve been very fortunate to have had a wide range of experiences in my life, to have had an interesting and exciting career in the British Army, during which a great deal of time was spent canoeing, sailing, climbing and generally enjoying the great outdoors and then moving on to set up my own business in the marine industry. It has been an interesting and rewarding time.

I’ve always felt that I’d like to put something back but, other than the odd coin in a collection box, I’ve never appeared to have had time to do anything specific.

Now, still with no time (but with time beginning to run out!), I’m determined to do at least something to set things right. In February 2009 I will be doing a 2000 km motorcycle ride through part of India on a British designed, Indian-built Royal Enfield. I’m seeking sponsorship for this ride in order to raise funds for the World Wildlife Fund and to raise money for terminally ill children.

I’m asking all of my friends, business colleagues and customers to get out their cheque books and send me a cheque for any amount made out to “Enduro India”. Your sponsorship will help us to raise as much money as possible and provide me with the encouragement that I will need to complete this hot, difficult and arduous ride – I’m told to watch out for sleeping cows and wandering elephants!
