Installations
AirBerth boat lifts are ideal investments for marinas as well as individual boat owners.
AirBerth boat lifts are ideal for keeping RIBs out of the water. To find out more about Scorpion RIBs, please visit the Scorpion RIB website.
They’re also a perfect solution for companies offering boat charter for corporate and private events – pristine boats enhance the experience. AirBerth boat lifts are used by at least two charter companies in the UK:

Wave Seven Marine AirBerth installations
New AirBerth installation

Wave Seven are soon to install their 10th AirBerth at Lymington Yacht Haven where customers enjoy a greatly extended boating season, and greatly reduced running costs for their pride and joy.
Wave Seven’s first installation at Maritime Marina, Chatham

Wave Seven have just installed their first AirBerth in Maritime Marina, Chatham, an MDL marina. The customer witnessed one of its advantages first hand when a neighbour in an extreme hurry struck the AirBerth very hard on returning to his berth. No damage was done to the AirBerth or either boat.
RIBEX 2007

Wave Seven Marine displayed its AirBerth boat lift storage system at the recent Rigid Inflatable Boat Exhibition (RIBex) in Cowes, Isle of Wight.
They displayed an AirBerth which is owned and used by the Cowes Inshore Lifeboat. The Lifeboat has been stored on its AirBerth from new and is now some 3+ years old.
The quick and simple operation of AirBerth ensures that the boat is ready for action at a moment’s notice. Importantly, however, AirBerth is keeping this craft in tip-top condition and the crew consider that AirBerth is considerably extending the life of their boat since all the normal wear and tear on a moored boat is transferred to the AirBerth and is not suffered by the boat. Indeed, at RIBex both the boat and the AirBerth looked as good as new.
Police choose AirBerth for storage of counter terrorist RIB

The Marine Intelligence Unit of Hampshire Constabulary has taken delivery of a new VT Halmatic Rigid Inflatable Boat which will be used for routine patrols in the Solent Area as well as providing a high-speed on-water counter terrorist capability.

Advised by Halmatic to keep their new craft out of the water to maintain it in the very best condition, Hampshire Constabulary has chosen an AirBerth boat lift storage system on which to moor their boat in Halslar Marina, Gosport.

In choosing AirBerth, the police team were impressed with the simplicity and speed of operation, its smart, professional and functional appearance and the fact that there are no metal parts to rust or cause damage to the boat. Prior to placing their order Hampshire Constabulary visited the Cowes Inshore Lifeboat which also lives on an AirBerth – this unit is now a few years old and continues to keep this boat ready for immediate action and in good condition.
Roger Nadin of Wave Seven Marine Ltd who supply and install AirBerth comments: "Supplying an AirBerth for such a high-profile craft as this VT Halmatic RIB is particularly gratifying and underlines our commitment to this quality product. AirBerth has established itself as world leader in floating boat lift storage systems and prides itself in having supplied the U.S. Coatsguard, Sunseeker owners, rescue services and other boat users who expect the very highest standards."
AirBerth enters Norwegian market with Scottish connection

AirBerth Boat Lift Storage Systems have dramatically increased sales in Europe over the past 12 months with Wave Seven Marine Ltd in the U.K. installing more units in the first three months of 2006 than in the whole of their first year of operation. Suddenly boat owners and marina alike are recognising the advantages of storing boats out of the water but ready for use at a moment’s notice. This reflects a world-wide trend in boat storage.

In August, Jűrgen König, Operations Manager of AirBerth in Australia visited France to train a new distributor and, while in Europe, took the opportunity to assist Wave Seven Marine during install of a 4300kgs model in Norway.

Installed near the beautiful city of Bergen, this AirBerth is for use with a Finnish-built Nordstar 24 owned by an "ice cream magnate" from Aberdeen in Scotland with a summer residence in Norway. The boat is to be kept on a summer mooring part of the year and a winter mooring during the harsh Norwegian Winter months – but, since AirBerth can be move from one location to another with ease, the boat can always be kept in top condition out of the water.

Previous attempts to introduce this mooring concept to Norwegian boat owners had met with scepticism but locals who had initially dismissed the idea are now completely bowled over. They see how simple it is to operate AirBerth and can also see in what superb condition the Nordstar can now be kept – all year round!
Wave Sevens Marine’s Sales Engineer, Simon Nadin reported considerable interest in AirBerth during installation and has been dealing with new Norwegian enquiries since returning to the UK.
AirBerth stores Sunseeker

An increasing number of Sunseeker owners are seeing the benefit of storing their boats out of water when not in use but in having them ready for action in a moment’s notice.
The attached pictures shows a Sunseeker XS moored in Dubai on its M650 AirBerth Boat Lift Storage System. Who would want to keep such a beautiful boat on the water growing barnacles and weed when it can be kept in all its high-speed glory just out of the water?
Taking just 4 minutes to operate, AirBerth is the perfect unit for such boats and even larger ones – right up to 14,000 kgs.
Keep your eyes on this news panel for another Sunseeker XS Sport being installed on AirBerth in the next few weeks. Incidentally, look at the pontoon system that the Dubai AirBerth is moored to – this is the EZ-Dock system comprising large-format rotationally moulded dock sections which make pontoon and marina building so simple and cost effective.
